Beth Chapman’s husband, Dog The Bounty Hunter, announced the heartbreaking news about her death on Twitter.

He said: “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain.

“Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

Following his devastating message, their daughter, Bonnie, 20, paid an emotional tribute to her mum.

Bonnie said she thought her mum had a “couple of years left”, following her stage four lung cancer diagnosis.

She tweeted: “I’d never thought I’d lose my mom at 20. I told her I thought she had a couple years left, but in her eyes she disagreed.”

Bonnie uploaded a sweet picture of her parents smiling away together in a selfie and commented: “So thankful I got your beautiful smile.”

In a separate post, Bonnie wrote: “I’ll never forget you, mama. You were such a strong woman, and you taught me to always be strong.

“You were strong for everyone, and you taught me it’s okay to let go.”

Bonnie had also uploaded a bedside picture of her hand intertwined with Beth’s.

“So thankful to call you my mother,” she captioned the post. “Rest In Peace, mom. I love you so much.”

Beth, 51, was hospitalised at the weekend and had been placed in a medically induced-coma after experiencing “difficulty breathing” while battling stage four lung cancer.

The reality star was first diagnosed with throat cancer in September in 2017 and two months later, she announced it had been removed.

However, it soon returned and spread to her lungs and in a recent post, Beth alluded to having stopped chemotherapy.

She told her fans: “Chemotherapy is not my bag, people. Sorry, that’s not for me. So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith. This is my ultimate lesson.”

In December, Dog revealed Beth’s cancer had returned and explained it had become “incurable”.
