The Cannes Film Festival began two weeks ago, drawing a plethora of A-list stars to the French Riviera for countless red carpets and glamorous premieres.

And as the festival draws to an end, an album of enchanting black-and-white photos has been revealed to cast the opulent event in a different light.

The candid snaps include memorable moments from the past two weeks, showing the stars from a whole new perspective.

The photos depict a number of intimate moments such as Kendall Jenner, 23, caught off-guard while modelling a showstopping tulle mini dress, complete with a tiered train.

Brooklyn Beckham, 20, is seen in another photo with girlfriend Hana Cross, 22, giggling together whilst sharing a kiss and link hands as they mount the iconic steps of the Palais Des Festivals into the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood screening.

There are also tender scenes shared between Quentin Tarantino, 56, and his wife Daniela Pick, 34, who he wed last year.

The film director and Israeli beauty look every inch the newlyweds as they exchange a number of intimate looks on the red carpet.  

Hollywood heartthrobs Brad Pitt, 55, and 44-year-old Leonardo DiCaprio’s friendship is captured as the dashing duo are snapped alongside each other looking relaxed and at ease.

Another image showed Brad in his full glory as he sported a dressed down look of aviator style sunglasses and a flat cap.

Models Petra Nemcova, 39, and Toni Garrn, 26, were spied in a cheeky position as Toni was seen patting Petra’s peachy bottom as they posed ahead of the debut screening of La Belle Epoque.

Bella Hadid, 22, looked ethereal, snapped from up above as she graced the red carpet in a tulle gown at the screening of Rocket Man.

Another arty image of the beauty sees just her eyes illuminated while the rest of her is hidden in shadow, allowing her stunning gaze to be the focal point. 

Actress Eva Longoria, 44, was captured in the midst of blowing a kiss as she dazzled at the amFAR gala, her brunette tresses slicked back to expose her elegant chandelier earrings. 

Meanwhile, Elle Fanning, 21, showed off her style credentials at the premiere of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in a white chiffon shirt and statement hat.

The age-defying beauties looked delighted in the moment as they stood side by side, beaming.

Also adding to the list of stars in the collection are Winnie Harlow, 24, Alessandra Ambrosio, 38, and Elsa Hosk, 30.

Winnie flaunted her model looks on the red carpet, posing in an brocade gown with her hand on her waist.

Elsa’s striking looks take centre stage in a headshot, her hair slicked off her face and plump pout lined with coloured lipstick.

Fellow model Alessandra used her dress’ chiffon material as a prop, billowing in the wind to create a dramatic effect for the cameras.

The 2019 Cannes Film Festival takes place at the iconic Palais des Festivals for two weeks, which ends this Saturday.

Actress Elle Fanning, French graphic novelist Enki Bilal and the Oscar-nominated director of The Favourite, Yorgos Lanthimos, are among the jury members during the annual event.  

Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu presided over the panel that decides on prizes, including the top Palme D’Or award. 

The jury for the festival’s 72nd edition includes Pawel Pawlikowski, the Polish filmmaker and screenwriter named best director at Cannes last year for the impossible love story Cold War.

Maimouna N’Diaye, who has directed documentaries and acted in films such as Otar Iosseliani’s Chasing Butterflies sat on the panel, alongside two other female directors.

Kelly Reichardt, whose Wendy and Lucy starring Michelle Williams was a contender for Cannes’ Un Certain Regard award in 2008, directed 2016’s Certain Women.

Italy’s Alicia Rohrwacher won best screenplay at Cannes last year for her film Happy as Lazzaro, a satirical fable about a peasant family.

French filmmaker Robin Campillo, who took Cannes by storm in 2017 with 120 BPM – Beats Per Minute, winning the Grand Prix for his movie about an AIDs activist, will complete the line-up.

The awards were handed out in a ceremony on Saturday after being chosen by the jury.

The festival’s second place award, the Grand Prize, went to French-Senegalese director Mati Diop, was the first black female director in competition’s Atlantics.

Best actor went to Antonio Banderas for Pedro Almodovar’s Pain And Glory and best actress went to Emily Beecham of the UK for Little Joe.

Belgian brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne won best director for Young Ahmed.
