Gemma Collins has been defended by her Dancing On Ice partner Matt Evers after trolls accused her of ruining the show with her "gobby" attitude.
In a series of posts on Twitter , Gemma was branded an embarrassment over her on-air spat with Jason Gardiner last weekend.
However, Matt hit back at the trolls and raged that they have totally misjudged The GC.
One wrote: "Look Matt my problem is not with her looks, weight or anything like that its her general attitude that stinks…
"Those behaviours she displays being gobby etc will not change. The world don’t owe u a living u have to work for it, she wont…
"I’m sure I’m not alone in saying she’s ruining this years dancingonice for everyone."
Matt posted a furious reply, writing: "Really? How has she not worked on Dancing On Ice? You don’t get a pair of skates and just…. *boom I can stand up. Gemma can skate and that’s only come from work. Remember I’m the expert and the pro here."
He added: "I have faith people can change and there is no need for any negativity towards me, him, her or anyone… EVER."
It came after Gemma revealed she had a teary tantrum during her Dancing On Ice rehearsals this week.
The reality star, 37, said she broke down and cried but insisted she’s "worked butt off" on next week’s routine.
In Matt’s post on Instagram Stories she said: "I’ve been working my butt off.
"I’m mastering the steps, there have been tears because I’m so determined to get it right."
Matt added that he’s seriously proud of Gemma for her hard work.
He said: "We are just finishing another three-hour session this week.
"I have just got say I’m actually very proud of Gemma this week.
"We have put on extra time her skating is coming along, we’ve taken on what the judges have said, worked on more of her skills, more of the skating."
He also revealed it will be a tear-jerking performance on the next show.
Matt explained: "I really hope you enjoy the routine, it’s an emotional one.
"It means a lot to both of us."
