There the actor was being treated for cancer. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had been staying in New York for almost a year and naturally, his happiness is at peak. Ranbir Kapoor was spotted outside Karan Johar’s office on Monday evening, then he visited sister Riddhima and stayed there to help her prepare for Rishi Kapoor’s homecoming. Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor celebrated his 67th birthday on September 4. The actor had been vocal about how he missed his home ground and was waiting to get back in action. “The moment I get back, I will take 15 days off to connect with my roots, get over the jet lag and by end of September, I will start shooting,” Rishi had told Mirror earlier.

Rishi Kapoor had wrapped up dubbing for his films before heading to NYC for treatment last year. Rishi had dubbed for crime-thriller The Body, which also features Emraan Hashmi, Sobhita Dhulipala and Vedhika. Now Rishi cannot wait to get back on the field and get started on the dubbing/shooting for the other projects and complete the pending work. Talking about The Body, the makers are planning to begin the remaining work of the film by the end of September or early October based on the schedule of the actors. They are still waiting to finalise the dates and announce the release date revealed the producer Sunir Kheterpal.

Sanjay Dutt who will collaborate with Rishi Kapoor for his home production informed Mirror that he cannot wait to work with the 102 Not Out actor. Sanjay and Rishi would be a part of a comedy film titles Pandit Galli Ka Ali, which will be helmed by Sanjay Puran Singh. “It’s too early to comment on the film as Rishi sir has just returned to India. I have been in constant touch with both Sanju sir and Rishi sir since the last few months. I am looking forward to seeing him back at work.” Sanjay told Mirror.
