At the age of 40, Sri Lanka’s Rangana Herath retired from Test cricket on November 9, 2018 after the first Test against England in Galle. Herath has already announced his retirement from ODIs and T20 internationals.

Rangana Herath, who debuted in 1999, finished his Test career with 433 wickets one less than the legendary Indian fast bowler Kapil Dev.
