Shila Iqbal beamed on the red carpet just days before she was sacked from Emmerdale.
The actress, 24, only returned to the ITV soap weeks ago, but has now been dismissed over historic offensive tweets.
However, when she stepped out at the Asian Film Festival's closing gala in London earlier this week she appeared to have no idea what was coming.
Posing for pictures in a glamorous black and yellow gown, the now-disgraced soap star seemed to be settling well into her new celebrity lifestyle.
Opting for a natural makeup look, she styled her brunette tresses in loose curls and swept it over to one side.
Iqbal looked comfortable in front of the cameras as she spun around and looked at them over one shoulder, with just a hint of a smile.
The TV star had only gushed about how excited she was to be joining the show as a regular weeks earlier.
But her stint was short lived, as a spokesman for the show confirmed the news of her departure on Thursday 11 April.
"As a consequence of historic social media posts Shila Iqbal has left her role as Aiesha Richards on Emmerdale," they said.
"The programme took the decision not to renew her contract as soon as these posts were brought to the company's attention."
According to Mail Online, Iqbal was fired after bosses learnt of a series of historic 'racist' tweets in which the N-word was used.
The posts are said to have dated back to 2013 when Iqbal was 19-years-old and attended college in Rochdale.
Iqbal has since deleted her Twitter account.
After news of her sacking emerged, Iqbal issued a public apology and said she takes full responsibility for her 'inappropriate language.'
