England players will face Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff tonight before head coach Steve Borthwick selects his 33-man squad for the tournament.

One player in particular, 36 year old Danny Care, is expected to be one of three scrum-halves picked by the England coach.

When the star isn’t on the rugby pitch, he’s at home with his wife, 32 year old Jodie Louise Care, and three adorable children – 8 year old Blake, three year old Koha and 10 month old, Rocco.

Danny met Jodie in 2013 in Thailand when Jodie was travelling with friends, and the pair soon became inseparable. They welcomed their first son Blake in 2014, before welcoming daughter Koha in 2019, and second son Rocco in October 2022.

The rugby star often shares his family life to his 178,000 followers on Instagram, and announced the birth of his son Rocco Cole Care to his fans last year.

The post read: “Rocco Cole Care. Our little family is complete. This little man came into our lives at 5.15 a.m today 8/10/22 I’m so in awe of my absolute rockstar of a wife @jodielouisecare you are super human! Our little people have the best Mum they could ever wish for.”

Sharing a range of different family get-togethers from birthdays to pumpkin picking, the 36-year-old often offers fans insight into his life off the pitch.

Danny and Jodie married back in 2016, surrounded by friends and family – and a member of the royal family.

Niece of King Charles III, Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall watched as the England rugby star married Jodie at St Andrew’s Church in Cobham, Surrey.

The pair also have their own home renovation Instagram account, @the_care_fam, where they share work around the house, and general family life.

Last week, Danny Care shared a seven year anniversary post to his Instagram. It read: “Seventh heaven. Happy Anniversary darling [loveheart emoji].”

As well as a cosy home life, the star also spends time travelling to sunny spots like Dubai and Spain. Recently, he shared a series of snaps with Jodie and his three children enjoying some family time in the hot weather.

His post read: “My team [loveheart emoji].” To which, a number of fans responded praising the sweet set of photographs.

One comment read: “Definitely a daddy’s girl Lovely photo of you both.” A second fan said: “Family memories.”
