A new book reveals claims that working for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “was like working for a couple of teenagers”.

Following the marriage of Meghan, 41, and Harry, 38, the Queen’s former private secretary Samantha Cohen was appointed interim private secretary to the couple and a source in the new book quotes that Samantha was “bullied” and nothing she did was ever good enough for the couple.

The claims were revealed from an extract of the new bombshell book New Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, by Valentine Low published by The Times.

A source quoted in the book said: “Sam (Cohen) always made clear that it was like working for a couple of teenagers. They were impossible and pushed her to the limit. She was miserable.”

Meghan denied allegations back in 2021 that she “bullied two personal assistants out of Kensington Palace” and her lawyer Jenny Afia later slammed “bullying the” claims in a BBC documentary in November that year.

Buckingham Palace launched an inquiry into the allegations and confirmed in June 2022 that the private investigation had concluded but findings were to be kept private.

In the new book, there are also claims that Meghan had disagreements with her personal assistant Melissa Touabti regarding free gifts sent to Meghan.

Melissa left her role with the Duchess six months after joining and the new book claims her following the rule that members of the Royal Family cannot accept gifts from commercial organisations “did not go down well with Meghan”.

OK! has contacted a representative for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for comment.

Despite Harry and Meghanstepping down as senior members of the royal family in January 2020, the pair reunited with them this month forThe Queen’s funeral.

Both Harry and Meghan appeared to be particularly emotional at the funeral on Monday as they bid a final farewell to The Queen in three distinct services before her burial.

Wiping back tears, both Harry and Meghan could be seen wrestling with their emotions as they processed the finality of the day, before taking comfort in the presence of each other as they clutched tightly at each other’s hands.
