Hilary Duff is feeling herself after hitting a huge fitness goal!
The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate getting her “pre-baby body” back ahead of her daughter Banks’ first birthday. It was a pretty big deal, seeing as the Younger star set a goal to achieve this before her baby turned one — and she did just that!

She told fans about her accomplishment with a sassy selfie on her IG Story, writing:
“I have been working really hard to get back to my pre-baby body before Banksy turned a year! It was my goal…and I did it!”
Hil credited her dietitian and fitness coach for helping her achieve this health milestone, continuing:
“I have been working closely with Erik @theflexible.dieting.coach (whom I confess all my sins to lol) and training hard @novobodyofficial and getting all my strength back! You guys have kept me focused and made it fun!”
The momma of two also went on to thank her “home chef” — AKA her fiancé, Matthew Koma — for making her nutritious meals, adding:
“It would be impossible without these guys and my home chef @matthewkoma. Thanks boys…”
It takes a village — and lots of hard work!
Just last month, Duff was feeling much different about her weight loss journey. She took to social media in mid-July to express her frustration over not seeing the results she was hoping for (read: abs), writing on her Stories:
“Sitting here thinking…gotta keep working on this body that was Banks’ apartment. A while ago… Give me my abs back. Are they in there? Hellllllo come back.”
Well, all it took was a few more weeks of hard work (and prepped meals)!

While the actress has been dedicating the past few months to getting her pre-baby bod back, she previously made peace with the body image issues that plagued her since her teen years — all thanks to her pregnancy!

In 2018, she said of learning to accept her body:
“It wasn’t until my mind adjusted to not caring as much that I started to figure it all out. I realized that I am never going to be the same again, and that’s okay. I’ve learned to be proud of what my body does for me, and what it did while I was pregnant with my son…. My body helped create a bond between us, and me being there for him in those first months of his life ultimately was far more important than me trying to get in shape right away. And that mental shift helped all the other stuff eventually fall into place.”
It sounds like everything’s falling into place for the Duffster as of late. In addition to hitting her weight loss goal, the actress revealed she would be reprising her role as Lizzie McGuire in a brand new show for Disney+.
Not much has been revealed about the series just yet, but clearly we can expect a fit AF adult Lizzie!
