Aside from unveiling that she had pneumonia, the ‘It’s Gonna Rain’ singer insists that she ‘wasn’t missing’ when she’s released from the hospital as she’s with her physical therapist.

AceShowbizKelly Price has offered her fans and followers more updates on her health amid her battle with COVID-19. During a live session on her social media account, the “Friend of Mine” singer revealed that she had pneumonia in her lungs.

The 48-year-old singer revealed in an Instagram Live she hosted on Monday, October 18 that she is currently breathing on her own after being placed on an oxygen machine “every single day.” She also set the record straight that she wasn’t missing when she was released from the hospital.

Kelly explained that she was with her physical therapist, who came to see her twice a week along with a nurse. “Since being out of the hospital, I do have had respiratory therapy,” the “It’s Gonna Rain” songstress shared. She added, “I have to see a cardiologist. That’s probably one of the hardest things to accept.”

Elsewhere during the live session, Kelly shared that she is currently able to sing a little bit. “If I want to sing a song right now, I can probably sing it but not full out,” the musician said. She then noted that she “can’t do a concert because [she doesn’t] have the capacity of the stamina to get through an entire concert just yet.” Though so, she said, “I’m grateful for that.”

Previously on October 13, Kelly assured her fans that she’s “getting stronger everyday.” In an Instagram post, she shared a note that read, “Sis is following dr’s orders. Sis is getting stronger everyday. Sis is working hard to get back to the music. Sis is focused. Sis is eliminating stress from everywhere and everyone who presents it no matter who they are.”

“Sis is working hard to be better than I was before COVID, before the pandemic, before the deaths and the losses, before the heartbreaks and the pain,” Kelly continued. The gospel singer went on to note that she “will be better than she was before the craziness.”

Elsewhere in her post, Kelly wrote, “I thank God for another chance at life. I thank God for everyone who ‘gets it.’ ” The “You Should’ve Told Me” songstress added, “I even thank God for those who don’t get it, those who insult me and those who judge what they know nothing about…you have a role in what propels me to chapter next as well.”

Kelly’s health updates came after she was listed as a missing person in Georgia following a welfare check conducted at her home since her family hadn’t heard from her in a few weeks amid her battle with coronavirus. When she was found safe, she admitted that she “died” of the virus and explained that she’s been isolated and avoiding her family. “At some point, they lost me,” she shared.

“I woke up some days later — a couple of days later and the first thing I remember is the team of doctors standing around me and asking me if I knew what year it was,” Kelly continued. When she’s asked to clarify, she responded, “I died.”
