Lizzo’s dance captain praises god for her fortune
Lizzo’s dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, logged onto Instagram last night to share a message about God with her 52,400 followers.
The choreographer had recently come under fire after a number of dancers on the singer’s team filed a lawsuit in which she is named as a defendant.
In the video, Quigley could be seen displaying a wide grin as she filmed herself talking about God inside her car.
She captioned the post: “God loves you so so so so much. #neverforgetthat”
In the clip, the dancer began: “Hey, everybody. I just wanted to get on here really quick and say God is so, so good.

“God loves you so, so, so, so much no matter what you’re going through, even if you don’t love Him. He loves you.
“Glory to God. I just wanted to remind you that He is love and He is truth, He is the light, He is the first and the last and all things work together for those that are called, according to his purpose.”
The message comes after Quigley was accused in the lawsuit of proselytising to other performers and deriding those who had premarital sex.
While also sharing lewd sexual fantasies, simulating oral sex and publicly discussing the virginity of one of the plaintiffs.
The suit does not say if Lizzo knew about the allegations linked to the dance captain.

NBC reports that the singer allegedly “began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas”.
Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, is named in the suit as a defendant as well as her production company and Quigley.
“The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing,” the plaintiff’s lawyer Ron Zambrano said in a statement.
Express.co.uk has contacted Shirlene Quigley for comment and had previously approached Lizzo about the lawsuit.
