Francesca Allen has candidly revealed she wasn’t sure if she could trust the Love Island producers.
Brunette beauty Francesca, 25, appeared on the 2019 series of the show alongside Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins.
As she gave an insight on the realities of appearing on the show, Fran admitted that she was unsure if she could trust the producers, which played on her “mental state”.
Speaking in an interview with the Mirror, Fran was asked if she regretted taking part in the series, to which she said: “Erm… Do you know what, I do think when you first go in there you get thrown into the deep end, it's a whole other world and it's trying on your mind.
“It’s very peculiar, you're in another little world, you have your phone taken off you, you have no friends and no family there.
“You don't really know who to trust, the producers are telling you to trust them and you're like, ‘Hmmm, no, I shouldn't trust you.’
“So it's a play on your mental state, but, do you know what I probably would do it again, I think it made me grow up a lot and made me a better person perhaps.”
Following her fame from the series, Fran has been subjected to trolling with some accusing her of Photoshopping her images.
When quizzed about the comments accusing her of using Photoshop on her gorgeous Instagram uploads, she said: “Personally, I would never want to make anyone upset or say something nasty, I hate upsetting people.
“But I am not an angry person, I always think, it comes from a bad place when you want to make someone else feel like that.
“I do ignore it most of the time, but the odd time I have replied and I have been really nice, and their reaction is always overly nice, ‘I didn't mean it in a horrible way, I didn't mean it like that!’”
But, the humble star also revealed she accepts that she’s not everyone’s “cup of tea” and described herself as “a bit wonky”.

She explained: “I don't ever think, ‘Oh, I'm amazing’, I'm not always going to be someone's cup of tea, but that's like anything in life.”
Fran added: “Everyone's form of beautiful is different, so I try not to be too harsh on myself.
“Just don't look in the mirror too much!” she advised. “I have other things going on than worrying about how I look all the time, it can just be really time wasted. If you think about too much, it just stops you from doing other stuff.”
And, when asked what beautiful meant to her, she said: “I think being beautiful is something that is more on the inside.
“I think if you're kind and generous and want or try to do good in the world, I think that makes you beautiful more than necessarily focusing on the outside.
“You can be the most beautiful person ever, but if you're a horrible person you then become less attractive.”
