Danny Jones performs on The Voice Kids with contestant

McFly’s Danny Jones, a judge on The Voice Kids, had been on a trip to Tenerife to celebrate his anniversary with wife Georgia, whom he first met in 2009.

However, Georgia revealed the pair’s son Cooper suddenly became dangerously “dehydrated and lethargic” and couldn’t drink without vomitting, prompting an anxious dash to A&E on the Spanish island.

It was a tense moment for the pair, as Georgia explained on her Instagram Stories, where she revealed the details of their little boy’s medical emergency.

“Sorry I left you all on a bit of a cliffhanger. This little guy just before we were due to fly home got a bit sick.

“And when I say a bit sick, he quickly went from this,” she wrote, attaching a photo of him fast asleep, before following up with one of him hooked up to tubes in hospital and writing “to this”.

“I think had this of been England, it wouldn’t of been quite so dramatic (sic),” she went on, marvelling that Cooper had been enormously “brave” throughout his ordeal.

“I guess they have to be so careful with dehydration in hot countries,” she explained.

“He wasn’t keeping water down, so was pretty dehydrated and lethargic.”

Danny and Georgia’s return flights to the UK quickly had to be cancelled, while they waited for their son to make a recovery.

“We had to make sure this little man was back to eating waffles and chocolate sauce before we were confident to fly,” Georgia elaborated, publishing a picture of Cooper tucking into a tempting-looking breakfast plate.

“A bit of a stressful end to the holiday, but we’re home now.”

Danny chose not to reference the emergency on his own Instagram account, but he did publish photos of the family larking around at the ultra-luxurious Ritz Carlton Abama before Cooper’s health took a turn for the worse.

The little boy donned a cute outfit, complete with a pair of mirrored sunglasses, leading some Instagrammers to joke: “When your kid poses better than you!”

Cooper didn’t just look like he was demonstrating star quality, as he quickly carved out success for himself at the swimming pool too.

“I came on this holiday armed with all the flotation devices for Cooper… but by the end of the day my well planned inflatables were no longer needed,” proud mum Georgia shared.

“I think there’s something about maybe his age & the nice warm pool (& I really hope the swimming lessons) but our little man suddenly turned into a mini Phelps!” the model added admiringly to her 194,000 followers.

Revealing that he now had “zero fear”, she added: “I [had] never seen him swim a width unaided, dive, hold his breath, jump in without us there to catch him! It’s been really incredible to watch. Did you notice a switch [in your child] at five years old?”
