Nicole Scherzinger recently became a fiancée after beau Thom Evans popped the question, and she appears to already have some crystal clear ideas on the wedding day guest list.

The singer, 44, who rose to prominence in band The Pussycat Dolls, won't be inviting any of her former bandmates for the big day, according to reports from Heat magazine, which claims there is 'bad blood'.

Formed in 1995 as a burlesque troupe consisting of Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt, the band later welcomed Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton and Kaya Jones joined to form their pop group. But things turned sour in 2010 with a split, when it was reported that other members weren't happy about Nicole being the lead singer.

As planning is already getting underway for her big day, Nicole, who previously dated F1 ace Lewis Hamilton, is hoping to make it drama and 'toxic' free, leaving her Pussycat pals behind.

"Nicole doesn't want to invite one and not another, only for those missing out to start causing trouble," a source told Heat Magazine. "There's so much toxic energy from that part of her life, she doesn't want to bring any of it into her dream wedding."

They added: "There's still so much bad blood there, it would be reckless to chance any of them turning up to the wedding. Nicole feels unfairly painted as the villain just because she was the better singer of the group and she doesn't have time for that pettiness anymore."

OK! has contacted Nicole's representatives for comment.

Nicole, Ashley, Kimberly, Carmit and Jessica reunited in 2019 for a performance on The X Factor: Celebrity, where Nicole initially met fiance Thom, releasing a new single and scheduling a comeback tour in 2020.

The tour was postponed due to Covid-19 that year, before Nicole announced that it had been cancelled at the beginning of 2022 – something which Carmit and Jessica claimed they hadn't been informed of before seeing it on social media.

Nicole announced that she was engaged to British rugby player Thom via social media, sharing a sweet snap of him down on one knee, showing a glimpse into the romantic beach proposal.

Nicole captioned the moment: "I said yes", followed by a ring emoji and a black heart. She also shared a second image where the loved-up couple are seen grinning from ear to ear as they looked each other in the eyes.

Thom posted the same snap to his Instagram along with the caption: "My Ever After", along with a ring emoji and a red heart.
