It has been revealed that Buckingham Palace has hired an external law firm to investigate claims that Meghan Markle, aka Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, bullied former staffers.

The alleged complaint was filed in October 2018 by Meghan and husband Prince Harry‘s former communications secretary Jason Knauf, and stated that two personal assistants were driven out of the household and undermined the confidence of a third staff member. Meghan‘s friends came to her defense amid these bullying claims and many believed the timing of this allegation was suspicious amid her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Now, CNN is learning that the Palace hired an external firm to handle the probe.

The Palace told the publication, “Our commitment to look into the circumstances around allegations from former staff of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is being taken forward but we will not be providing a public commentary on it.”
