When a film legend throws a party for his 80th it’s not good to keep Robert De Niro waiting. So some of the biggest names in Hollywood showed up on time at the New York restaurant where the double Oscar winner and his family marked the milestone birthday with a lavish dinner.
Guests included Martin Scorsese, also 80, who directed De Niro in 1990 Mob hit Goodfellas. Other famous faces were The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola, 84, Star Wars creator George Lucas, 79, Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, and Sir Paul McCartney, 81.
Also joining the party at Locanda Verde in Manhattan were actor Alec Baldwin, 65, magician David Blaine, 50, Pulp Fiction’s Christopher Walken, 80, and actress Uma Thurman, 53, with her author father Robert, 82.

At De Niro’s side was producer girlfriend Tiffany Chen, 45, with whom he had his seventh child in April.
Their daughter Gia Chen De Niro was also at Daddy’s party. De Niro’s daughter Drena, 51, shared a black and white portrait that actress Debi Mazar had posted online, captioning it: “Happy 80, you know who!”
In a personal touch, the birthday cake, inset top, featured a replica of New York’s Greenwich Hotel, owned by De Niro.
Even now there’s no sign of him slowing down – he recently corrected an interviewer who asked him about his six children, saying “Seven, actually.”
His new crime drama Killers of the Flower Moon, a story of love and betrayal, earned De OK a nine-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival in
