Dozens of fellow celebs and fans flocked to share their condolences, with many wishing Russell well at such a difficult time.

Hours after announcing his dog's death, Russell appeared on The Kyle and Jackie O show on KIIS radio and struggled to hold back his tears as he discussed Louis.
The hosts of the hit radio show, Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, offered Russell their condolences before Kyle checked on the actor to see how he was doing.
"Are you alright? Is everything alright there?" Kyle asked.
"No, we're actually a little devastated," Russell responded with tears in his eyes.
"He was such a beautiful little pup you know and kind of wrapped us around him and shaped our lives around him. So it's gonna take a little time to get past."
Louis passed away on 30 March, which was also the two year anniversary of the death of Russell's father, John Alexander Crowe. Gladiator star John died at his home in Coffs Harbour, Australia, in 2021 at the age of 85.
