Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford shares hair transformation

Ruth Langsford admitted that her hair “thinned in menopause” so she began to get extensions to add volume.

The Loose Women panellist stunned fans as she spilled the secret to her luscious locks by posting a video from the hair salon.

The 63-year-old star, who is married to GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes, took to Instagram to showcase the process she uses to thicken her hair as she opened up about her struggles with menopause.

Sharing a video with fans, Ruth could be seen sitting in a salon chair as her stylist removed her current extensions and added a fresh set.

She gave people a detailed account of the painless process and said it doesn’t ruin hair as she’s had it done “several times”.

Although Ruth’s trademark look is a short bob style the extensions that her stylist added initially were longer until she cut and styled them and had some fun playing around with the new look.

Ruth even admitted that she sometimes considered keeping the longer tresses.

“Now I do have these just for thickness but it’s very tempting to keep the long sometimes,” she said.

She also added a caption to the video giving details of what she was having done.

“Time to have my extensions re-done. So many of you ask me about these so I like to show you how they’re done!” she wrote.
