Stacey Solomon had an "emotional" day as she attended her second son Leighton's final school leavers' service in the local church.

The Sort Your Life Out star, 33, shared a series of adorable snaps from her outing, where she took her little boy Rex, four, along with her.

Wearing a loose black summer dress for the occasion, Stacey swept her hair up in a ponytail and posed for sunny picture in the Pickle Cottage garden.

"Ready for Leighton's Leavers' Church service. Good luck Leight," the star posted on her Instagram page. Happy Monday."

Stacey then shared a video of her middle son looking smart in his school uniform as he read out his speech at the front of the church.

"We are so proud of you Leighton… Happy last year at primary year six."

Along with a selfie with her two sons, the mum-of-five shared how "emotional" the experience had been for her.

"The face of a proud 11 year old, an over emotional mother and a four year old who is well and truly ready for the church service to end," she shared, joking that Rex was unable to concentrate for much longer.

The blonde youngster, who is also the son of Stacey's husband Joe Swash, 41, grumpily looked down as he played with the service sheet in his hands.

As she reflected on the day later on at home, Stacey was a proud mum as she laughed about getting so "emotional" at the church.

She then shared the details of her comfy dress as she revealed the outfit was a look direct from her latest In The Style range.

It comes as the busy mum, who is also an author and reality TV star, has been updating her followers on her work-out progress.

The star has been determined to keep to a routine in her home gym, and has even enlisted her older sister Sam, who is a personal trainer, to help her.

During her most recent session, the former X Factor singer admitted it was "carnage" as she tried to exercise with her toddler Rose, one, making noise around her.

Adding the Beatles song Help to her brief video on Instagram, Stacey told her fans: "ACTUAL CARNAGE [laughing emoji].

"Me and my sister trying to do a leg day when your husbands off fishing [laughing emoji]. Nothing stops Sam making me do leg day [laughing emoji] [monkey emoji]."
