The police on Friday conducted a special drive at various public places and rescued 15 children, including two girls. They were staying at different places and were allegedly addicted to vices.The police teams conducted the drive at Pandit Nehru Bus Station, railway station, pavements and hotels and rescued the homeless children.

They were produced before the Child Welfare Committee and eight children were handed over to their parents. The remaining were referred to different homes through the CWC, the police said.
