Joint Director of Fisheries M.A. Yakub Basha inspected the aqua feed making units at Tadigadapa in Penamaluru mandal on Saturday in the wake of complaints of the presence of antibiotic residue in shrimps being exported.

Mr. Basha said consignments of shrimp were being rejected by buyers. Samples collected at the feed making units were sent to the Drug Control Department (DCD) laboratory for analysis.
