Schoolchildren from various educational institutions showcased their creative brilliance in various contests held as part of The Hindu Literary Festival-2018 at Bomma Brilliant Grammar High School here on Saturday.

A total of 980 students from as many as 12 schools exhibited their oratory skills and artistic talents in diverse literary and theatre/drama activities at the fest organised by
The Hindu
in association with Vignan University.

Gracing the occasion as the chief guest, Collector R.V. Karnan hailed the joint initiative of
The Hindu
and Vignan University. He called upon the students to inculcate the habit of reading newspapers and magazines to develop their personality and grow into responsible citizens. Commodore C B Rao of Vignan and others spoke.
