As part of the afforestation activities to celebrate Vana Mahotsav, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit at Coimbatore International Airport planted 250 tree saplings.

The saplings were planted on the sides of the road leading to air cargo complex and its premises. A garden created on air cargo premises has been named ‘Swarna Jayanthi Udyan’ as CISF is celebrating 50th year of excellence.

CISF Deputy Commandant Manmohan Singh Yadav and Assistant Commandant Prem M.J. took the lead for the sapling plantation drive.

The CISF at the airport with a strength of 260 personnel will take care of the saplings.
