Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, at a review meeting on Monday, told land-owning agencies that sites for the new Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics (AAMC) should be inspected within this week, in order to finish the identification process.

At the meeting, which was attended by Health and Public Works Department Minister Satyendar Jain and officials of land-owning departments, Mr. Kejriwal was informed about the pending joint inspections.

A statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office stated that another review meeting will be held by Mr. Kejriwal later this week. The departments concerned have been asked to prepare status reports of the inspections by then.

Mohalla Clinics project, the flagship healthcare initiative of the AAP government, has been delayed as the land for 1,000 AAMCs is yet to be secured.
