Principal of College of Arts and Commerce K. Ramamohana Rao said on Wednesday teachers should set research goals, excel in academics and contribute to the development of new theories and doctrines, during a lecture organised by the UGC HRD centre of AU.
Delivering a Lecture on "Teaching and Research" at the short Term course on "Research Methodology" organised by the UGC HRD Centre of Andhra University here on Wednesday, he said that every teacher should focus on the research in their respective specialisations. He highlighted the need for quality and standards in research to compete with foreign universities.
Prof. Rao explained about various stages of research process and methods of research to the participants.
