To help candidates submit their applications online for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Technical), a helpdesk was opened at the District Police office here on Wednesday.

Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board has invited applications through online mode for direct recruitment for filling of 309 vacancies for the technical post from July 11 to August 10.

Apart from the general category, special quota for police departmental candidates (constables to head constables) who have put in five years of service are also eligible.

Since Online Computer Based Test is being conducted, candidates can apply only through online mode.

To help candidates apply online, a helpdesk was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police S. Sakthi Ganesh here that would function from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday. Interested persons can contact the help desk at 04244-2266010, 83000-37783, 94981-14950 or 94981-75632.
