Blaming the State government for inordinate delay for handing over possession of land to Indian Institute of Management-Visakhapatnam, for which stone was laid in January, 2015, BJP floor leader in the Assembly P. Vishnu Kumar Raju and MLC P.V.N. Madhav on Wednesday said HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao should refrain from feigning ignorance on the good work done by the Centre.

“Instead of misleading public and making a statement that BJP MP K. Haribabu should quit from his post for doing nothing for development of Visakhapatnam, Mr. Srinivasa Rao himself should resign for not even visiting the Centre-sponsored projects coming up at Gambheeram and other parts of the city,” they said.

After a visit to sites allotted to IIM-V, SAMEER’s R&D lab and Export Inspection Agency’s food testing lab at Gambheeram, they told reporters that Mr. Rao should try to know what was happening in his constituency.
