A four-month-old baby died of suspected respiratory distress on a Patna-bound flight, which made an emergency landing in Hyderabad early on Tuesday.
The infant, identified as Sparsh, and his mother, were travelling on the flight from Bengaluru.
The flight made an emergency landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here at around 8 a.m. and the child was rushed to Apollo Hospital located on the premises of the airport.
Declared ‘brought dead’
The baby was declared dead on arrival.
RGIA police said a case has been registered under CrPC 174 to determine the cause of death.
