The internationalisation of higher education brings representatives from various countries together to formulate and develop a new scenario in the field of higher education, Chris Sunday Eze, Nigerian High Commissioner, has said.

An official release issued here quoting him stated that international graduates were the most credible ambassadors of the country they represented. He was addressing a gathering at the honouring ceremony of graduating members of the Kerala International Students Association (KISA) organised by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) here on Saturday.

The Nigerian High Commissioner said international graduates should inspire confidence among their fellow beings by taking up challenges in the field of higher education.

Nearly 40 graduates belonging to Afghanistan, Botswana, Bangladesh, Chad, Ethiopia, Gambia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Korea, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Sudan and Uganda, who have acquired degrees from various universities and colleges in the State, were felicitated.
