Cultural troupes performing in the Adivasi dialects will soon fan out in the Agency areas of erstwhile united Adilabad district to spread awareness on control of seasonal diseases. This is among the measures which will be taken to control diseases, especially malaria in the tribal habitations.
Adilabad Collector D. Divya, who is also the Chairman of the Integrated Tribal development Agency, Utnoor, presided over a meeting of officials which included collectors of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district Prashant J. Patil and Mancherial R.V. Karnan besides ITDA Project Officer S. Krishna Aditya, assistant collectors under training at Mancherial Prateek Jain and Snehalata besides Rural Water Supply Engineers and Medical and Health Department officials.
The Collector stressed on the need for coordination between officials of concerned departments in order to take preventive measures and control spread of diseases.
