The water level in Mettur Dam stood at 120.23 feet on Sunday against the full level of 120 feet.
The inflow was 41,624 cusecs and outflow 42,388 cusecs.
About 500 people visited an eye screening camp conducted by MLA PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan on North Masi Street here on Sunday.
This was the second such camp conducted for the benefit of the people, said the MLA.
Four doctors from Government Rajaji Hospital, who screened the patients, referred 21 for cataract surgery.
Mr. Thiagarajan said many people avoided going to hospital fearing the high cost.
All people should have access to affordable healthcare. Those undergoing cataract surgery would receive support and care from the cadre, he said.
