Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy said that people of Telangana cannot tolerate ‘dictators’ and the caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would face rejection.
At a press conference here, he reminded that even Saddam Hussian of Iraq used to feel that he was invincible and the world knows how his tyranny came to an end. Similarly, people were bent upon ending the dictatorial attitude of KCR and his son K.T. Rama Rao, who has of late started behaving like KCR.
Mr Reddy said the TRS leaders have turned restless ever since Congress and TDP joined hands and the fear of a humiliating defeat staring at them has frustrated KTR so much that he started talking in an insane manner about the grand alliance.
Condemning KTR’s criticism on Congress party’s alliance with the TDP, he reminded him that TRS allied with Congress in 2004 and with TDP in 2009 elections. If it was justified then what makes TDP an anti-Telangana party and that too after the formation of Telangana.
He also ridiculed the hype being created by KTR over receiving an invite from the World Economic Forum and said WEF was a private organisation that sells its invites for a cost.
He said invitations for those conferences are sold on payment of fee up to Rs. 1.5 crore.
