The upcoming Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TSRERA) does protect the interest of allottees and buyers of properties in the registered projects but it also has to be noted that the allottee has to pay interest if the amount payable to the promoter is not paid in time as per the agreement. At an awareness programme on the RERA Act for the prospective buyers, residential welfare associations and others Director (Planning) R. Balakrishna explained about the rights and responsibilities of the allottees while detailing the process of registering complaint with the adjudicating officer through the portal in respect of grievance of allottee as well as the promoters.
