The mortal remains of Sadashiva Swamiji of Baby Hill Mutt near Pandavapura of the district, who died in Bengaluru late on Tuesday, were laid to rest with religious customs at the mutt on Thursday.

The seer’s followers across the district, and representatives of various mutts, attended the funeral.

According to sources, the seer had visited the family of one of his followers in Bengaluru to attend a wedding. He died at their residence.

The mortal remains was brought to Pandvapura on Wednesday and kept at the mutt.
