The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University has released the merit list for the academic year 2018-19.
Palanisamy Srikarthika P. has topped the academic merit list for BVSc & AH, scoring 199.67 and Poojidha M. has topped the B.Tech (Food Technology/Poultry Technology/Dairy Technology) list with a score of 199.
The university has released separate merit lists for various categories such as vocational stream, sports, differently abled persons and children of ex-servicemen.
A total of 11,745 aspirants applied for the 400 seats in the BVSc and B.Tech programmes offered by the University. Among the total eligible candidates, 43.12% are first graduates, 54.15% are girls and 74.07% are from rural areas. The provisional merit list of eligible candidates has been uploaded on the University’s websites. The counselling for BVSc & AH and B.Tech (FT/PT/DT) courses will be conducted during the fourth week of July. The University will announce the counselling schedule, eligible aggregate marks and venue on its website within two days.
Eligible candidates may download the call letter and instructions from the website using their log in ID and password to attend the in-person counselling on the allotted date and time, a release from the University said.
