Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, the literary wing of Shriram Group, is organising a State-level Tirukkural elocution contest for school and college students in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from July 21 to August 19. The preliminary round for Puducherry will be held on July 22 at Fathima Higher Secondary School at Karuvadikuppam here.

The contest will be conducted in three categories — junior level, senior level and college level. Educational institutions can send two entries from each class at the junior level, four entries each at the senior, super senior and college level.
