Water level in the Bhavani Sagar reservoir has crossed 89 feet on Monday evening against the full reservoir level of 105 feet.

Public Works Department officials said that the inflow stood at 8,934 cusecs while the outflow was 1,000 cusecs for irrigation. The storage was 20.853 tmc against the full capacity of 32.800 tmc.

The officials added that the inflow had dropped from Sunday evening due to decrease in rainfall in the catchments. Revenue officials had already warned people not to enter the river as the water level may increase suddenly.
