The CPI has asked the government to release a White Paper on the development achieved in the State during its 1,500 days in office.
The party has also sought a White Paper on the implementation of the promises made in the run-up to the elections in 2014.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, CPI State secretary K. Ramakrishna listed the lapses and failures of the government.
The debt redemption scheme could not be taken to its logical conclusion, he said.
The TDP failed to keep the promise it had made to the SCs, STs, BCs, and other communities with regard to change in their social status.
The developmental schemes announced for each district on the Floor of the Assembly were yet to see the light of day, he said. For instance, 11 promises had been made to Prakasam district, but none were implemented. Similarly, the industrial park promised at Donakonda was still on paper, he pointed out.
Observing that there was a lot of difference between the tenures of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu when he was at the helm in the combined State and post bifurcation, the CPI leader alleged that “corruption is rampant now.”
