A memorable trip to US

A trip to the east coast of America in April was life-changing for the 21 students of Rajagiri Higher Secondary School and principal Fr. Martin Mundadan. The tour began on April 9. The group spent eight days in Orlando in Florida, after which they moved to Washington DC and New York. In Orlando, it was the magic of the Disney World and NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre that kept the students in awe. The students also took up tasks in simulators and space control rooms. Experts imparted lessons on growing vegetables in the climatic condition of Mars.

They also went through an astronaut training experience, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The students visited Universal Studios, watched the Jimmy Fallon show and had a rare encounter with the sea world. They also visited Madame Tussauds wax museum.

Investiture ceremony

at Choice School

The investiture ceremony at Choice School, Thripunithura, was held on June 29 on the school premises. Participating as the chief guest at the function, Hibi Eden, MLA, spoke on leadership, strength, and integrity. Principal Sunitha Satheesh, Edna Fernandez, and Reshma Latheef and parents, and faculty members participated.

A football match

with a difference

Soccer mania at MA International School, Kothamangalam, saw a match between students and their grandparents.

While the seniors played their heart out and won the hearts of all, youngsters eventually won the match.

Faculty improvement programme

A faculty improvement programme in Mathematics was held on July 14 at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar. Organised by Kerala Mathematics Teachers’ Association (KMTA), the meet was inaugurated by KMTA president Dr. A Vijayakumar.
