Points an accusing finger at Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Friday suspected that a conspiracy was being hatched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to destabilise A.P. by encouraging the formation of the Federal Front with the active involvement of the YSRCP and the TRS.
“There is no doubt that Mr. Modi is against A.P., and he has hand-picked the YSRCP and the TRS to obstruct the development of the State and encourage destructive forces,” he said while addressing the media here. Along with Home Minister N. Chinarajappa and other TDP leaders, Mr. Ramakrishnudu offered floral tributes to party founder and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao on his death anniversary, besides inaugurating a blood donation camp organised on the occasion.

Mr. Ramakrishnudu criticised YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for joining hands with Mr. Modi, and wondered why the Opposition was compromising on State’s interests. “Mr. Modi has done injustice to the State by failing to fulfil his assurances, and it is unfortunate that Mr. Reddy is joining hands with him,” the Finance Minister said, adding that people were watching the developments and would understand the Centre’s conspiracy to destabilise the State. Mr. Chinarajappa exuded confidence that the TDP would be voted to power again because of the “good work” done by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. “After NTR, it is Mr. Naidu who is giving top priority to welfare schemes,” he said.
