Bollywood actor Amit Sadh, who has worked in films like Kai Po Che, Guddu Rangeela, Sultan and many other, said that post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, people are talking about facing the depression and its treatment. The actor made a shocking revelation at the age of 16-18, he attempted suicide for times. Though he was not suicidal he used to make an attempt to end his life. But after the fourth attempt, the actor took a decision to stop this thoughts and go beyond that. Though it was not an easy task for him, as it took 20 years for the Breathe actor to overcome from this thing.

He told Mens XP, ” I didn’t overcome it all in one day – took me 20 years! I just found one thing for sure – this is not the end.” He added, “I feel blessed and fortunate that I’m on the other side of the white light. Now I have a lot of compassion, love, and empathy for people who become weak.” Sharing his piece of thought, he asserted, “There must be so many people who commit suicide but there are so many more people who contemplate or have thoughts about committing suicide on some dark day. For me, what marks real strength is to come out of it.”

Speaking about SSR’s desmise, Amit Sadh earlier said, “I think the industry has changed post coronavirus and is also affected by his death. I hope we are affected by it, because if we are not affected with it we are not human beings and if we aren’t humans then we shouldn’t be telling stories about humans.” On the professional front, Amit Sadh was last seen in Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra starrer Shakuntala Devi, which released on Amazon Prime Video. The film was directed by Anu Menon and produced by Vikram Malhotra.
