Following TNCA’s mail to the CoA on Friday regarding outstation players participating in the TNPL, the latter has sent a mail (on Saturday) to the TNCA and other BCCI members, reiterating its position mentioned in the two previous communications.

The CoA has also told the BCCI members that the Supreme Court has not stated anything against the ninth status report.

Players from Baroda, Saurashtra, Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra and Madhya Pradesh have been selected by the TNPL franchises, but not all players have been able to get NoCs from their respective States.

A top BCCI official told this paper that a meeting of the office-bearers, acting president C.K. Khanna, acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary and treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary and chairman of the technical committee Sourav Ganguly will be held in the third week of this month to give shape to a resolution at the Special General Meeting (SGM) in New Delhi.
