Gemma Winter and Chesney Brown have finally found a way to be together.
While this may be good news for those rooting for the couple, fans of the show were a little grossed out when they heard what the pair had been getting up to.
Johnny and Jenny Connor have just got back from some time away together, where they got a chance to reconnect and try to get to know one another again after their hellish Christmas and New Year.
However, fans were not impressed when they came home to find Chesney and Gemma getting down and dirty in the CELLAR of The Rovers Return.
Jenny and Johnny came home to a VERY messy pub, and were very frightened when they suddenly heard a surprising sound coming from the cellar.
Out of nowhere, Chesney emerged from the cellar, and Gemma followed up looking a little worse for wear.
She told them she expected the pair were not planning on coming home for a little while, which is why she got a little bit naughty with her new bloke in the dirtiest of places.
Later, Tyrone tried to hear what went on from Chesney, but the ginger just said: "Nothing lucky about it.
"Cold concrete floor, stinking of ale, is not the best aphrodisiac. Or maybe it’s a sign it’s not meant to happen."
Later, Jenny complained of how there were "puddles of ale" on the floor, while Emma joked: "Neighbours probably thought you had dodgy pipes or something!"
However, fans were more concerned when they heard how much money would be docked from Gemma’s wages for the four hours of work Emma did behind the bar – especially when it was less than minimum wage.
Gemma was told, by Jenny, she’d be docked £25 for four hours of work, which is almost £1 under the minimum wage per hour.
Fans were shocked by their wages, saying: "Emma worked 4 hours in the Rovers and earned £25. In other words she got paid under the minimum wage. # Corrie"
Another said: "£25 for 4 hours work that’s £6.25 an hour isn’t that below minimum wage. Employment tribunal # corrie"
A third added: "# Corrie £25? 4 hours? That’s below minimum wage! She might have got away with hit-and-run, but I think we’ve got Jenny Bradley bang to rights this time."
Maybe Gemma will get Jenny to up her wages before her next cellar romp?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
