Actress Lorna Fitzgerald was missed out from the year’s EastEnders credits for the second time in a row.

The soap star’s character Abi Branning was killed off and was credited in the soap until mid January 2018.

Every year on New Year’s Eve, EastEnders lists their entire cast for the year.

While she did not have any lines, Lorna was seen on-screen until Abi’s life support was switched off on January 19 2018.

This comes after Lorna famously failed to be credited last year, despite her character being at the centre of a major festive storyline after falling to her death.

Actor Harry Reid, who played Ben Mitchell, was also not credited tonight despite appearing in episodes until January 12 2018.

An eagle-eyed viewer spotted the blip, sharing a screengrab of the credits while tweeting: "#EastEnders @bbceastenders any reason why you missed Lorna out the credits again?"

Some others suggested that Lorna wasn’t credited because she didn’t have any lines but he pointed out: "she appeared as did Harry Reid and both were missed Lorna also got missed on last years credits as well."

While another fan commented: "OMG They missed Lora out last year as well! So cruel."

Mirror TV has reached out to EastEnders for comment.
