In 2016, The 44-year-old actor, who has been away from the big screen for quite some time now, posted an open letter on Facebook directed at his trolls. “Not ashamed neither shamed. Not offended. Not depressed. Not blind either. Am I happy? Emphatically! Infact, living the happiest chapter thus far with lbs to show for it. Happy to have been the weekends entertainment for all you trollers. If you have had enough fun please take the time to look at your own reflection. If trolling is what makes you feel better about yourself, you have to seriously think about you future prospects. My best wishes,” he wrote.

The actor shot into the headlines in May 2001, after he was arrested from Juhu for buying cocaine from a tout. He was tried before a Special NDPS Court, but after over a decade, granted conditional immunity from prosecution.

In 2017, Fardeen welcomed son Azarius with wife, Natasha Madhwani. He shared a picture of the newborn on Twitter, and captioned it, “Thank you for the congratulatory messages and wishes. Our best to all of you as well. Diani, Natasha & FK.”

Fardeen, who made his debut with dad Feroz Khan’s Prem Aggan opposite Meghna Kothari in 1998, has worked in films like Om Jai Jagdish, No Entry, Heyy Babyy and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega among many others. He was last seen on the big screen in 2010’s Dulha Mil Gaya.
