Just hours after the Love Island final, thoughts are now turning to which of the couples will make it in the ‘real’ world.

Last year’s winner Amber Davies has already warned the cast of 2018 of the dangers of navigating their villa romances into their new found fame.

21-year-old Amber admitted she knew things were over with her and then boyfriend Kem Cetinay just days after they were crowned winners, but she felt compelled to keep the relationship going for another four months.

But Georgia Steel from this year’s show has claimed she wouldn’t bow to the pressure and would split with boyfriend Sam Bird if she felt it was right.

Speaking on the Lorraine Kelly show, Georgia explained it was important to have your identity to ‘make it in the industry.’

"Being with Sam was amazing leaving the villa, " she said.

"However, I do think it’s very important to have your own identity in the industry and be yourself.

"At the end of the day if our relationship works, amazing. But if it doesn’t I’ll still have my own identity as well."

Although she had a brief spat with Dani Dyer during her last few weeks in the villa, Georgia admitted she was happy to see her and Jack Fincham take the crown.

"I’m so so happy for her," she said.

"Living in the villa they were the most genuine pair in there," Georgia added.

Last year’s winner Amber Davies also appeared on the show to offer some words of experience to the cast to 2017.

"Just make sure you have time for each other," she said.

"Keep your feet on the ground but Jack and Dani have a good work ethic. They are very humble.

"They are going to do very well," she added.

Amber then advised: " This is your best year of your life. make every moment count."
