This is great news for all Sharad Malhotra fans. The actor is back on the sets of Naagin 5 after recovering from COVID-19. He took to Instagram and wrote, “Veeranshu Singhania/ Veer…..See u sooooooon.”

The actor, who plays the role of Veer, was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. He recently posted that he had tested negative, and was thankful for all the love and moral support. The actor also went through a tough time during this phase as he lost both his pet dog, Musky and his maternal grandmother, Naani. After he had tested positive, co-stars Mohit Sehgal and Surbhi Chandna also underwent COVID-10 tests. However, it was Aakash Talwar who plays the role of Taapish Singhania who tested positive for coronavirus. Not just him, the director of the show, Ranjan Singh has also tested positive. Aakash Talwar, in an interview with ETimes, said, “My symptoms are mild, and I have been home quarantined. My wife has also undergone the test and her reports are awaited. I would request all those who have come in contact with me over the past few days to undergo the test.”

After the demise of his pet, Musky a heartbroken Sharad wrote, “Musky, our beloved Pug of 10 years, passed away peacefully leaving a void that will never be filled. My longest companion, partner in crime, confidante, roommate and a bond of 10 years where every moment was special with him around suddenly came to a stand still on 3rd morning… They say “a Dog is a man’s best friend” but to me along the way he became family…Wish i could pull those ears and cheeks one more time, those wrinkles on your forehead, the tummy rub, the roll over and every time u waited for me to get back home and greet me with that cute li’l wag of yours…I could go on and on and on….”
