Love Island‘s latest winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are the nation’s sweethearts at the minute, but don’t forget about 2016 champs Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde.
The couple just got engaged, and now you can watch the exact adorable moment Nathan proposed to his sweetheart Cara – in the very same Spanish villa where they met two years ago.
In the video posted hours after Monday’s finale, Nathan can be seen decorating the property with a path of love hearts. He escorts her through before going down on bended knee and Cara, naturally, saying yes.

“So here’s my proposal video lady’s and gents,” Nathan wrote. “[I’m] not one for being a cringe ball, but I suppose you have to set the bar when you propose.
“Massive thank you to my boy, Jack Guilfoyle. The guy’s a genius with his camera and drones.”
Speaking to OK! last month, Nathan said that he wanted to remind his girlfriend of where they first fell for each other in 2016.
“I brought her back to where we met and took her on a little treasure hunt around the villa to different places which meant something to us,” he said. “Finally, I blindfolded her, led her to the pool and got down on one knee.”
The series two winners, who welcomed their son Freddie-George in December 2017, did split up for a while before their baby was born and Cara revealed that she was struggling with anxiety at the time.
But Nathan and Cara remain one of the longest-running couples in Love Island history to this day – and long may that continue.
