Kevin Costner\u2019s ex-wife Christine Baumgartner was reportedly \u2018forced to settle their divorce\u2019 or risk \u2018losing everything\u2019.<\/p>\n
The couple, who split in May after 18 years of marriage, have spent the past four months wrapped up in legal issues over child support, housing, and technicalities related to their prenuptial agreement.<\/p>\n
However, they have now finally come to an agreement in court – with Baumgartner only getting a fraction of the $248,000 (\u00a3200,000) a month she had initially tried to fight for in child support.<\/p>\n
According to insiders, Baumgartner felt like she had no choice but to settle after a series of losses in the courts already – leading her to fear she could \u2018lose everything\u2019 if she continued to fight.<\/p>\n
