Holly Willoughby quits ITV’s This Morning after 14 years<\/h3>\n

Kerry Katona has claimed everyone was \u201cwaiting\u201d for Holly Willoughby to quit This Morning before the host made her bombshell announcement last week.<\/p>\n

The I\u2019m\u00a0A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star wrote that she \u201cwasn\u2019t surprised\u201d Holly had quit as she shared who she would like to replace her.<\/p>\n

Kerry, 43, penned in her OK! Magazine column: \u201cHolly Willoughby has stepped away from This Morning and I think it was the right time, I wasn\u2019t surprised.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were kind of all waiting for it, weren\u2019t we? I give Holly her due and I think that everyone has to move on at some point, it\u2019s nice to have shake-ups in TV too.<\/p>\n

\u201cITV haven\u2019t said who will replace her yet but I really like Christine Lampard, I think she\u2019d be great. I like Craig Doyle too, he and Christine would make a bl**dy amazing team.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Craig is one of the rotating presenters fronting the show following Holly\u2019s departure. The regular team also includes Alison Hammond, Dermot O\u2019Leary, Josie Gibson, Ben\u00a0Shephard and Rochelle Humes.<\/p>\n

Lorraine\u2019s regular stand-in Christine also has experience presenting the programme after previously appearing with both Holly and her former co-star Phillip Schofield.<\/p>\n

Holly confirmed she was quitting the daytime show in a statement shared to Instagram last week.<\/p>\n

The 42-year-old wrote: \u201cI have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.<\/p>\n

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.<\/p>\n
